KIEF is a boulder smashing three-piece psychedelic rock performance which portrays what it’s like to have a party with explosives out in space. Started off as a conventionally lame stoner rock band in 2012, Kief turned its tables by deciding to become a free-jam instrumental act. After taking some time to finalize recorded materials, Kief releases its first record “Cosmic Suplex” in November 2018 through Lawless Records. After released the single titled “Flight of The Sukma”, we are now working on our new album.

Membered by eclectic individuals from different musical backgrounds ranging from reggae to death metal, the trio holds on to one thing in common and that is to party. Hard. Kief has become a platform to have fun for Tabib Hasan Chaniago (Guitar), Motorhead (Drums & Synth) and John Paul Ikan (Bass). The band is heavily influenced by being under influence therefore it’s essential that Kief shares an experience which involve more than the hearing senses of the audience.

Every live performance is supported with a Live Visual Jockey which responds to the music provided by the band. Visual mappings and installations plays a major role in giving the experience as a whole. Kief is not your conventional band that you’d hear every day and it’s definitely an experience worth living through.
