Tiad Hilm was indoctrinated by the internet. He spent his formative years exploring cultural and musical nooks that fall slightly outside the comfort zones of most. Starting from his love of classic soul music, 808s drum machine, and contemporary R&B; the nerdy, wondrous, and obtusely introspective rapper/singer hailing from Semarang, Indonesia developed a sound that looked into the deepest echelon of neo-soul and hip-hop to his sound. While wearing the influence from Andre 3000 to Childish Gambino, and Stevie Wonder to Frank Ocean on his sleeve, his style would grow more refined as the years went on, with production getting more detailed as his writing became more nuanced.
